The Ridgeway Run

Have just got in from this years Ridgeway run and a great day it has been. With all the rain lately it was good to have a nice sunny day for the run. The start was at Chieveley Services - A34 / M4 junction 13 and then on to East Ilsley, Wantage, Letcombe Bassett, Hungerford, and on to the The Pelican Inn for a 2 hour lunch break. Back on the road it was off to Pewsey, Avebury, Marlborough, Lambourn and back to Chieveley Services. A total of 110 miles. A great Sunday drive! Thanks to Harpo for organising the run.

MINI2 Charity Ball

We attended the MINI2 charity ball on Saturday which was in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. The ball was held in Northampton at the Marriott Hotel. There was a run during the day around the lovely Northamptonshire countryside with a BBQ lunch at Wollastons MINI dealeship. The Ball had a James Bond theme & Casino night with Roulette and Black Jack.

First Service

Well finally, after nearly 2 years and 10215 miles the MINI has had it's first service today. I was begining to think it would never get one and I would have wasted £150 on the TLC package.

Top Gear Run

Attended our first MINI event of the year on Sunday. The Top Gear Run which attracted well over a 100 MINIs. The weather held out right to the end when the heavens opened allowing everyone a couple of fun laps of the track in the dry. Also a great day for photo shoots with all the old planes as back drops.
