With all the rain lately it was good to have a nice sunny day for the run. The start was at Chieveley Services - A34 / M4 junction 13 and then on to East Ilsley, Wantage, Letcombe Bassett, Hungerford, and on to the The Pelican Inn for a 2 hour lunch break. Back on the road it was off to Pewsey, Avebury, Marlborough, Lambourn and back to Chieveley Services. A total of 110 miles. A great Sunday drive! The ball was held in Northampton at the Marriott Hotel. There was a run during the day around the lovely Northamptonshire countryside with a BBQ lunch at Wollastons MINI dealeship. The Top Gear Run which attracted well over a 100 MINIs. The weather held out right to the end when the heavens opened allowing everyone a couple of fun laps of the track in the dry.
